Lesson 6 – Yeshua – Part 2

Yeshua

This session will be the second on Yeshua and will concentrate on his exoteric teachings as found in the three synoptic gospels, Mark, Matthew and Luke.

The readings are from the reconstructed Q gospel or source gospel as represented by the sayings of Yeshua in Matthew and Luke (and shared by them), but not found in Mark, the earliest gospel to be written. This has been reconstructed by comparing Matthew and Luke with Mark.

When reading them ponder the following three questions:

• What does Yeshua express about universal love and brotherhood?
• How does he describe the Kingdom of Heaven?
• What is his concept(s) of evil here?
