About Course

For something to be ageless, it means that it is not of age, meaning that it is never old nor never new but ever present.  Throughout the ages, we have seen the appearance of The Ageless Wisdom come in and out of vogue. From the days of Hermes and Patañjali to Pythagoras and Hypatia, The Ageless Wisdom has always been there, waiting to be accessed to deepen and enrich our understanding of life.

In an approach akin to those in the Renaissance period, this course will explore how modern and pre-modern philosophy relates to the topic of anxiousness and the body offering a scholarly exploration of the teachings of The Ageless Wisdom.

With anxiety disorders being estimated to affect millions of people worldwide, and stress and stress-related conditions causing havoc on our bodies, our productivity and economics, now is the time for us to consider what the religious and philosophical approaches of The Ageless Wisdom can offer us in how it is we can approach experiences of the body.

Presented as the second part in this series, Anxiousness and the Body – Part 2 will again explore what The Ageless Wisdom has to say about anxiousness and the body, utilising the body’s wisdom to support and enrich our understandings and approaches.
