There are many stereotypes of what being ‘old’ looks like in our current civilization and our presenters have each faced these stereotypes within their own lives. What did that look like? What have they learnt? How have the Ageless Wisdom Teachings supported each of them to live their lives in full even, in some cases, when faced with the prospect of dying?
If we are to appreciate that even though the body is changing, the inner life can be rich and purposeful at any age, we are on our way to ageing with joy, understanding, confidence, responsibility and purpose.
This course will explore and discuss the various changes, cycles and practical areas we face during our elder years. Taking the opportunity to contemplate these changes and cycles, we can begin to value the qualities of wisdom and experience that we, as elders bring to others and to humanity in general. With this new awareness and acceptance comes an enrichment of our inner life. In turn, the deeper understanding brings us the potential to not only live the ageing process but to enjoy it whole-heartedly.
