Stress and Productivity in the Workplace

BannerCourse Code: C0044-OL

5 PART VIDEO COURSE ONLINE | Enrolments now open

Course Description:

This 5 week course offers a different way of looking at work, of how to deal with the reality of it's challenges, and yet still maintain our vitality and enthusiasm for work and our life. Open to Men of all ages, from school leavers and beyond.

Work represents a significant aspect of most men's lives. A productive, enjoyable, healthy working environment is critical in many ways to men's health. However, the practical reality is that the workplace is not like this for many men. Bullying, understaffing, unrealistic deadlines, and group dynamics often create a situation where men become stressed and ultimately resentful about the fact that they have to work, seeing work as nothing more than a necessity, a burden, and a means to an end so that they can have a life - rather than seeing work as part of life. Does it need to be this way?

The Course Will Explore:

  • Look at the reality of what work means for men, from what causes stress, to what affects our productivity.
  • Assist men to explore more deeply their relationship with work in a way that is supportive of themselves, and in a way that still enables them  to be fully productive at work without compromising themselves in the process.
  • Offer very practical tools to assist men how to bring more joy and natural commitment into their chosen occupation, without necessarily needing to change their working environment.
  • Offer an array of practical tools, insights, and tips from experienced and qualified professionals to support participants to learn to deal with the inevitable stress that comes with most work environments in a way that does  not deplete them mentally and/or physically.
  • Seek to challenge many of the traditional ideals we hold around what work means to a man, and to challenge us to look at work in a way that is more beneficial to our overall health.

Open to everyone.

The Lineage of The Ageless Wisdom

Course Description:

This course is the first in a planned series of courses which will treat the long lineage of teachers and teachings of the Ageless Wisdom from Hermes through to the twentieth century.

The history we have been taught is mostly a smokescreen of what the true history of humanity and our civilisations has been about:  the continual evolution of our awareness.  That true history is the story of the teachers of the Ageless Wisdom, whose teachings are still very relevant to each and every one of us in our lives.

This first course will deal with the lives and teachings of Hermes Trismegistus, the first great master of this era, Zarathushtra/Zoroaster and Krishna.

This course is a face to face presentation with video footage available online within 24 hours of each live presentation. The online video of each presentation is available to ALL students who are enrolled for the course.

The Course Will:

  • Provide information on the lives and teachings of Hermes, Zarathushtra and Krishna

  • Allow participants to appreciate the ancient sources of the Way of the Livingness we follow now.  Though the energies of the ages may change and hence our adjustments to it, the wisdom remains the same.

  • Present participants with opportunities to directly engage with and ponder on the teachings of the ancient texts of Hermes, Zarathushtra and Krishna

  • Encourage participants to relate what they have been reading and pondering on in the lives of the three masters and their teachings to their own everyday lives and livingness

This course has been designed for women wanting to understand more about the significance of the phases of her menstruation and/or menopausal cycles.

Menstruation and menopause are significant cycles in a woman's life from which there is much to learn about herself, her body and about life, no matter what her age.

Developing a Healthy Lifestyle

Developing a Healthy Lifestyle

Course Code: C0048-1.16

Venue: Crows Nest, NSW | 2 Sundays 14th and 28th May | See below for further details | Enrolments Now Open

Course Description:

We are at a time where we are seeing a general push to be healthier. We have more 'healthy lifestyle' programs, more 'healthy lifestyle' magazines, more access to 'health foods' and 'health diets' with more health practitioners available than ever before, and yet we still have rising rates of illness and disease.

Is it possible that aiming for 'the healthy lifestyle' does not bring the true wellbeing and vitality we are actually searching for?

This course will support participants to understand that:

  • living in a healthy way is actually very natural to us and requires NO effort,
  • living a naturally healthy lifestyle comes from the connection we have with ourselves through listening to and understanding our body,
  • our body tells us everything we need to know about living in a healthy way.

By exposing the myth of 'the healthy lifestyle', this course will help participants to discover what living a healthy life truly is, a way of life that opens us all to being able to live to the full potential of who we are, to make healthy choices for ourselves, and to potentially heal all aspects of our lives.

Please Bring:

Please bring pen, paper or computer, mats for floor work, a means of hydration and cushions for your comfort. Please wear comfortable clothing for body awareness exercises.
