About The Ageless Wisdom Teachings

In principle and by delivery, the College of Universal Medicine established its curriculum in 2007 to provide practical and relevant support for the student who is seeking to further their relationship with the Ageless Wisdom, and its teachings, training and development.

● The format includes a series of presenters who deliver a vast variety of topics with regard to how the Ancient Wisdom relates, holds and has a history in and with the subject being discussed.

As part of the curriculum, the student is presented with the extensive nature and ever-developing study of the Esoteric Sciences; there are other sciences also covered. The esoteric simply means the ‘inner-most’, which in its simplest practical definition can be understood as developing a cardio-centric way of viewing and living life. And hence, there is an esoteric developmental aspect that is in line with the Ageless Wisdom.

As such there has been a series of presentation that were headed under the title ‘Esoteric Developers Group’ or EDG. This series was introductory as it was naturally extensive as is the Ageless Wisdom. The EDG provided a great forum to present the esoteric in its true meaning, in its true principles and in the Sciences that found it. That said, the presentations always remained under the auspices of the Ageless Wisdom, naturally so as it is the founding basis of our curriculum along with and in respect to all temporal sciences. It is understood that all must be harmoniously united.

● If this is an area of interest, you may find the Ageless Wisdom Teachings (AWT) and its practical approach to the esoteric way a very appealing method of study as well as being part of a group that represents many from all walks of life.

As a subject and or field of study per se, it can be said that in its true form and thus in its true study, the esoteric never seeks perfection or exerts pressure to achieve or gain a certain status or posture of knowledge. And therefore, neither judgment nor derision are ever proffered nor reflected in anything that is truly esoteric, for that which is truly from the Ageless Wisdom has a genesis in brotherhood and hence in true unity. The key is for each student to develop in accordance to his/her own set pace and personal commitment levels. No one is rushed or scorned for being too slow, not-knowing or not committed, etc. The emphasis is on learning in addition to having fun and keeping a good sense of humour.

About AWT:

As mentioned ‘A-W-T’ stands for -- ‘Ageless Wisdom Teachings’. The ‘AWT’, as an expression, is a form or vehicle of interactive group service for the benefit of all in society, a principle that is in line with the founding tenets that constitute the College of Universal Medicine and its offering to reach a wider audience of students who are seeking the Livingness, the true occult and the esoteric as a true living way in public life.

ESOTERIC:

As a study, the esoteric is principally all about the inner-most of each and every human being. The inner-most is a living consciousness that consists of a certain energetic quality. That ‘quality’ is a process of self-discovery. Once felt, and thus experienced, the student becomes aware that it is indeed a process of re-connection and no more than that. What follows is a re-discovery of ancient Sciences and know-how that make natural sense. Notwithstanding, the student finds him or herself learning about the inner Sciences that are still being discovered by conventional thinking and contemporary standards. That said, the esoteric does not wait for a certain way of thinking known as ‘conventional thought’ to be satisfied in accordance with its often limited, controlling and or dictatorial conditions. Instead, the esoteric provides deeply natural and sensible understandings to the many areas of life that the so-called conventional way assumes knowledge over, at times simply ignores, leaves unsaid or casts it out into the realm of the so-called mysterious.

The nature of study and of the student to be: The word ‘unfolding’ or developing is the ‘inner-reflective’ or very personal aspect of having and developing a relationship with the Ageless Wisdom.  In essence, to unfold is to develop an awareness of what it is to live in today’s society from one’s inner-most (the esoteric). This means to -- truly live in one’s true self and not by the conditions that come from outside of who one truly is. And thus, this entails a way of living that is an expression of who one truly-is in and amidst a way of life that has not only not fostered such truth, but has in many instances, imposed the opposite. To re-connect to your inner-most and live its way is known as ‘The Livingness’.

As mentioned earlier, there is no perfection sought and there is no pressure to achieve or gain a certain status or assumed level or bearing in relation to the teachings and their vast knowledge. And therefore, neither judgment nor derision are ever proffered nor reflected in anything that is truly from the Ageless Wisdom, for that which is truly from the Ageless Wisdom has an origin in absolute union and hence in true unity. The key is for each student to unfold and as such to progress in accordance to his/her own set pace and personal commitment: levels that are set by each individual. And thus, no one is rushed or scorned for being too slow, not-knowing or not committed, etc. The emphasis is on learning in addition to having fun and keeping a good sense of humour.

No matter where the student is on their path of self-rediscovery, the intention of the College, in addition to delivering its curriculum, is to support and allow the development at the pace the students set for themselves – each person is to find their own unfolding speed and not keep up or compare to any other. The AWT student seeks to live their true-self in a practical way in day-to-day life. In this instance, the College offers an environment of support. That ‘support’ is also part of the developmental process as the students learn to be supportive whilst not interfering in the affairs of others.

AWT FORMAT:

The AWT consists of 2 parts:

  • A monthly 2-hour AWT Lecture meeting - hosted by Serge Benhayon and many other presenters in Northern NSW, Australia
  • An online series of ‘News’ items and ‘Messages’ that are released periodically by the College of Universal Medicine with a section for humour, meditation, silliness and play-fullness

The topics presented at the monthly AWT lectures and presentations are all different but have a common theme of supporting the developing student in seeing the world, not through the usual set of limiting ideals and beliefs, but through a continually unfolding awareness that is founded on Science, natural sense and the reality of what is truly going on. In addition to topics presented by Serge Benhayon there are also ‘guest speakers’.  These speakers are fellow Ageless Wisdom students who will share a presentation on some aspect of their experience of the Livingness. The topics are all relating to a relevant aspect of the Livingness that the AWT students can then take away and look to apply in their everyday life.

In summary –

The practical application of the teachings is what the students seek as part of their development. And thus, the AWT format provides the support as we develop our own way of living and expressing as our true self in today’s world.

Learning, fun, joy and commitment to life are part of the esoteric way.

In truth and in its light,

the CoUM Team
